Reply with quote | #1 | I just bought a one way ticket from Sao Paulo to Salvador and it cost just a little over R$200. The company is Ocean Air and I have flown with them before and didn't crash. Because they are so cheap the seats get sold fast so book early. My flight is the 17th of novembro. I booked direct from their website it was easy and I paid with american express. Like most airlines in Brazil they will not except international visa or master card only Brazilian issued cards. I have American Express for the sole purpose of buying air fare in Brazil.
When I book my flights to Brazil from Canada it's all Air Canada but only up to Sao Paulo then it's best to book your own flight to connect you with where ever in Brazil you wish to be. If I booked my Sao Paulo to Salvador connector through Air Canada they would deal with Varig and the same flight to Salvador would cost R$800 - R$1200 or about $500Cn - $700Cn or more.

Reply with quote | #2 | I love the fact that you didn't crash is a selling point. Very Brasil.
You book a month in advance then? Is that the usual time frame? Do they do ida e volta packages?

Reply with quote | #3 | Certainly they have ida e volta . The point is you have to book at least a month in advance to get the deals.
